Christmas Lists

Does anyone else enjoy seeing what their kids come up with for Christmas lists every year as much as I do? Maybe it's because my kids (Colby in particular) like to give me ridiculous requests. Like when Colby was five, he asked me for a gadget machine. That was all. He didn't want anything else except a gadget machine. You know, a machine that makes any gadget you want. And anytime you try to explain to your kids that something might cost too much or they don't make that toy, ect... they just say "Santa can make anything" and they are not worried.

This year's lists have been equally fun to read. At least Taylor gave me some things to work with!

HALLE wants a flute, a violin, a harp, and a Barbie carriage.
TAYLOR wants a DS, a DS game, make-up, Build-A-Bear stuff, gum, money, candy, games, clothes, boots, art supplies, a picture frame, and a surprise.
COLBY wants (just as he wrote it):
1. Rosetta Stone Mandarin Chinese (512$. It's a good price compared to $750. Most RS languages are above $750.) I want it even if I don't get a Nintendo.
2. Nintendo (maybe)
Why does my 8 year old want to learn Mandarin Chinese so bad, you might ask? That is a good question. At least they make searching for Christmas presents exciting:)

When Santa asked Ava last night what she wanted for Christmas she said "rocks". There is a story that I can only share in private- because CPS might knock on my door otherwise =D. oopps I did it again...

That is too funny! Good luck getting all of that! Gum seems like the only reasonable request :)
