Dozer

I can't believe Jared finally gave in... but he did! And Colby got a dog for Christmas. Jared begged Colby to ask for anything else. He even bribed him with a Wii... but Colby wanted a dog more than anything. So, we searched and searched and eventually adopted a 3 month old boxer/shepherd mix from the Humane Society. Dozer and his litter were abandoned at a car wash, but were found and taken good care of. So far, he has been a great dog and we are quickly falling in love with him. Jared - might - get there one day! Colby has been really good about cleaning up in the yard, feeding, and bathing little Doz. The girls love him as well and I love that he's getting us outside more. He definitely has some puppy traits - like chewing up anything he can find. But, he is smart and energetic and a lot of fun. The kids have taught him to sit and stay already. Anyway, here are some pics of our little man.

I have been terrible about all the activities I usually save until after kids go to bed lately (scrapbooking, reading, exercising, blogging) - because my bedtime has been falling around 8:30 pm! I cannot stay awake these days. But, I wanted to let you know how excited I was to get my very first, "Don't you know what causes that" comment today from my neighbor about being pregnant. I was confused because I really did think that everyone knew women who are pregnant (w/ their 4th+ especially) don't like to hear that from others! Come on people! Why do you say such things?
