Family Pictures

I'm going to have a tough time choosing a Christmas Card... I love our family pictures this year, particularly the individuals of the kids! I want your opinions on the group picture I should use. Here are several of my favorites...

5 Browns Date Night

Colby & I had an awesome date to the 5 Browns Concert. It was a 3 hour classical piano concert and so it was expected that Colby would be bored (and tired) at parts but after hearing the 5 Browns play Star Wars, a Mozart piece he recognized from Baby Einstein, and the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, he left the concert inspired to arrange music. His piano teacher has convinced him that he has a talent for writing music and I love to hear him picking at the piano trying to find a tune that works. It was just a really fun night. And I fell in love with the group, especially the older brother. I loved watching him play the piano!

Day 2: We went to Nathan & Jen's to trick-or-treat with cousins who LOVE Halloween. Of course, everyone felt like being something different than the day before. Mom & dad - Ninja Turtles, Tay - black cat, Halle - Batgirl, and Colby... "a boy in a cape with a magnet in his pocket". It was so fun to spend the holiday with a family that really gets in to it - from their costumes to their Grim Reaper uncle to their air compressor that makes ghosts pop up and scare unsuspecting visitors. Good times!
