It's a...

I had my ultrasound this morning and the great news is that the baby is healthy & I only have one baby in there!

The bad news... I heard the same thing I did when I went for my ultrasound with Colby. "It's a girl, I think. But I could be wrong." And because I heard the exact same thing with Colby and he turned out to be a boy, I don't have any confidence that there's even more of a chance its a girl than a boy. Its just so fun to have an ultrasound and then come home and know what you are having. It is not fun to go to your ultrasound and come home having no confidence that you know anything more than before you went. I've never been given more than one ultrasound so I can't imagine that I will this time either.

The other bad news... my due date is later than I thought. I am due August 13th and Jared is supposed to start dental school August 12th. This should be really interesting!

Sorry to sound so bummed... but I guess I just was this morning.

I have a number for LIT. You can go for free and the students do it. Let me know if you want it.

I love your 8 item tag!!! Sorry to hear that you don't know what the sex is :( I guess you could say you're playing it 'old skool' and your going to Surprised!! So, when you have a baby, you'll be waiting for 'It's a .....!!!!'

Can you be induced to have the baby a little earlier? Either way it's hard. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry Mel! That is no fun not knowing what you are having. And it is correct that you can go to LIT, I had my ultrsound there for Jay and they could tell what you were having. The only sad part is that they won't give you a print out to scrapbook. Hope that all goes well with school and the baby being SOOOOO close together.

Bummer, Mel! I can't wait to see this new little one. I can't believe you're gonna have FOUR kids! That's so grown up! :-)

Hey Mel! The number is 409-839-2923. That's what is was back when I was pregnant with Claire. It probably hasn't changed though since it's LIT. Let me know how it goes!

Can't wait to find out what you are having when he/she arrives. They will be beautiful...just like the rest of your family. How many are you having? Still deciding if we should go for #3. Is is a lot harder?
