So, we ordered a digital camera off of Ebay... when it was delivered - I received an empty box with newspaper in it and no camera. When I contacted the seller, they accused me of lying and it has been a nightmare of a month. Finally, it has been sorted through and our digital camera is supposed to be sent to us on Monday. Ugh. We have not had one since August of last year! My life will be so different, I expect, when I finally have a camera that works & takes good pictures. I cannot wait! For Christmas, we took a trip with Jared's family to Colorado to spend a week in a cabin in the mountains. It sounded a lot more peaceful than it actually was (largely because it was way too cold to enjoy the beauty of Colorado) - but it sure was a lot of crazy fun! I love the family I married into. They are really good to us and just easy to spend a lot of time with.

Thanks for the comment...I didn't know you had a miscarriage...you probably understand a bit of my annoyance with a lot of people right now. They keep looking at me as if I'm going to fall to pieces any second. You know the look?? Sorry just venting. You know how I am. So, I've set some new goals to do before I try to get pregnant again. Losing 15lbs and running 2 miles without stopping are two of them. Any tips? Love you!
That's exactly how I felt. The miscarriage started on Sunday so I think we had time to adjust to the idea that I was going to miscarry. I thought I was just weird because I didn't feel it as a loss either just really disappointed like you said. I know it wasn't my fault and that things always work out in the end. But people keep looking at me as if I won't be able to get through the day without having a melt down. Anyway, thanks for the tips. Houston is still our goal. Eric is a applying for the physician's assistant program which would put us in san antonio for a year or two, but then we could be anywhere again. we'll probably be in the AF for a while though...hopefully some time will be spent in texas. I really miss it. someday...when does jared go to dental school?
